Alex Adam of AMA podiatry has made me personalised orthotics to help realign the muscles and tendons in my feet to straighten my bunion without surgery. By retraining where the tendon lies, it will help to bring the bone in. I am also doing exercises to support the mobilisation of the bunion joint straightens easily.

Kolourful Kati is partnering with Soles4Souls, a not-for-profit global social enterprise committed to fighting poverty through the collection and distribution of shoes.

Kolourful Kati is organising to collect and donate pre-loved Kolourful Kati sandals, heels, shoes and ankle boots through Soles4Souls, to distribute them to women overseas. Especially to small-business women to help provide opportunities for employment, personal self esteem and well being.

Given my personal connection with the family in Mexico who handmake Kolourful Kati's, this charity complements my philanthropic philosophy of helping to improve the lives of women in developing countries.

Soles4Souls was founded 3 years ago by Dalice Kennedy and to date has donated 125,000 sandals, shoes and boots to Tanzania, Vanuatu, Guatemala and Pakistan.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Pre-loved Kolourful Kati's mean Kolourful Kati footwear that you no longer wear and that are in a wearable clean condition.

CUT-OFF DATE

September 10, 2016 is the cut-off date when this collection will be sent to Soles4Souls in South Australia.

All Kolourful Kati pre-loved footwear must be clean and wearable.

You can clean/wash all sandals in cold water with a Sard like soap, and wipe over the ankle boots and heels with a damp cloth. Take a look "How to care for Kolourful Katis..."in this video

WHAT KOLOURFUL KATI will do..

Kolourful Kati will donate $10 per pair for each pre-loved Kolourful Kati pair of sandals, heels, shoes and ankle boots to Soles4Souls and pay for the transport to South Australia.
